1972 Maverick
1972 Maverick with 93,000 miles. 302 Automatic with A/C. Original vinyl top but was painted after an auto parts store delivery truck used the Maverick's left front fender as a parking brake. The car was purchased new in Tennesee and we inherited it from my wife's uncle in 1990, and drove it back from Atlanta to Richmond, Virginia over Thanksgiving. We have all original documentation down to the window sticker and bill-of-sale. Driven occasionally, the car draws a crowd wherever we go...particularly when folks see that it's a 302 and not a six.

1973 Comet GT Tim bought this car from the original owner in 1979 at the age of 19 for $1500. From the factory it came with the GT package, 302, buckets and a manual 3 speed with floor shifter. Tim totally disassembled the GT down to bare nothing. Restoration took 11 months and approximately 2400 man hours. All rusted metal was cut out and replaced with sections from donor cars. All bodywork was taken care of and the car was painted back to its original color. All work was performed by Tim. |
